First of All...
Every thing that I do as I continue to step on new soils around the world;
The houses built for homeless Mexican families,
The school children taught,
The Belizean high schoolers who received a breath of dreaming again,
The youth who've lived their whole lives in a Costa Rican slum that were given a reason to live,
The Rabi's in Israel who have received help and support,
The young kids, and homeless on the streets of Detroit, Michigan who were welcomed into the waterfall of the love of a Father...
All these things- are the direct results of support, of prayers from all of you. This is your reaping, and I just happen to be the physical hands doing and feet going. So thank you.
Thank you for furthering the Kingdom of God. It's important and it's changing things.
All donations are tax deductible.
MEET LALO Lalo is 16 years old, and his family just recently recieved a home from our Homes of Hope organization here in San Diego Baja, -that is- Ensenada, Mexico! 2nd oldest of four kids, Lalo is a soccer player and got his tooth knocked out in last week's game. "He was timid at first, and as he began to warm up, and talk a little more, he told me how since his accident, he doesn't even talk anymore at school, and if someone cracks a funny joke and he laughs, all the kids start laughing at him because of his tooth. As he was speaking I could sense his purity in his heart. At 16 years of age, he could be doing lots of things that kids with not too much money get into in Mexico, but he was serving his family, his siblings, and I could see the weight of responsibility on his shoulders. " (Read the whole story in Blog Archives, July 2015) Moved by Lalo's story, and the extreme poverty his family was experiencing, our youth team whose project his house was, generously provided for Lalo to get his tooth fixed, AND one of our staff members was able to provide his sister with a consistently paying job. This is going to help their family TREMENDOUSLY, and to the left, Lalo is smiling with all his teeth, old and new! Mexico 2015 |
